TRP yeilds RESULTS!!!

Its been a while since I have been on this forum because my old user name some how got deactivated. However, thanks to TRP personnel, I am back on the TRP board. I attribute much of my success to Test Ready Pro. Over two years ago, I knew I needed a career change and I wanted to be a Police Officer. I had a few obstacles ahead of me, one was my age. I was 48 years old. I wanted to work with Hamilton Police Service as well. After learning all hat was required just to apply, I knew I would need help. I had not been to school for 25 years and I had not studied math for 30 years. I signed up on TRP and took a PATI exam right off the bat with out studying any materials. The final results of my test were an abysmal 49%. I knew if I were going to succeed, it would require a inordinate amount of time and effort. I started studying TRP's materials and taking the tests, I took an Algebra course at Mohawk College. I studyied for three months and, the long and the short of it is that I ended up passing all my exams. I would not have been able to do this without Test Ready Pro and the help of Chris Bedwell, Tim Gordon and John Belisle.

Once I had my COR in hand, it was full speed ahead pursuing a career with the Hamilton Police Service. I applied at the end of July 2008. In September and October Hamilton put me through their battery of interviews, and in November, I was informed by Hamilton that I was successful in all interviews and they were beginning my background check. The back ground was 6 weeks of sheer agony waiting to hear. Then, on December 15, 2008, my phone rang. It was a Hamilton Recruiter informing me that he wanted to come and have a home visit with me and my entire family and he had some contracts he wanted me to sign....."and oh yeah, you are being fitted for your uniform on December 27 so you can be ready to start OPC on January 9! That was it....the call. I was offically the oldest recruit that Hamilton had hired in their 150 year history! Even the Hamilton spectator made a big deal of it! The picture sucks, but the article was great! I tell you my story because my hope is that it might inspire anyone here to follow their dreams! I won't kid you, OPC was tough. I mean, I was older than most of the instructors! However, I not only passed but was selected class Valedictorian by my 460 OPC classmates. I have been on the road now for a year and I love it! I am thankful to Test Ready Pro and their help to help me acheive a dream!

If anyone has questions about passing their ATS exams or the hiring process, I would be more than happy to help you! Good luck.
